Burgas Takes Preventive Measures Against Swine Flu

Regional headquarters for fighting against flu and cute respiratory diseases, met today extraordinarily in the cabinet of mayor Nikolov. A decision to take measures against dissemination of H1N1 and all other viruses was taken. These measures include suspending of classes at school during the next five days /from the 2nd to the 6th of November/. Visits in hospitals, planned surgeries, children’s and women’s consultations, immunizations are stopped. Kindergartens and nurseries will continue working, but with stricter rules for visiting. Parents will not be let in there. Children with symptoms of viral diseases will be isolated and their parents will have to take them home for medical treatment.
