People of Burgas showed that they can be united in the name of the good causes. They supported the cause to  save Petko Geogriev’s life, who is fighting against cancer. For a medical treatment abroad were needed a lot of money. A big part of them were collected with the help of Petko’s friends. Mobile Telecommunication Operators Speak about the Anntenas

* Municipality of Burgas Will Have Its Own Apparatus for Monitoring of Radiation   Public discussion on the influence of base stations and mobile telecommunication operators’  antennas on human health was held today. It was organized by mayor Dimitar Nikolov and ombudsman of Burgas Tanyo Atanasov. Deputy mayor of healthcare Dr Loris Manuelyan and secretary of the Municipality Bozhidar Kantchev were on the meeting. It was opened by mayor Nikolov, who reminded about the measures, taken in reply to numerous signals by citizens. New Time-Table of Bus Line, Servicing Burgas-Rudnik-Bryastovest-Draganovo-Izvorishte Route

Regarding the start of winter season and decreased passengers’ flow on Izvorishte–Draganovo route, starting the 16th of November 2009 /Monday/ the time-table of bus line, servicing this route will change.   In Burgas the bus will have the following route – “West” bus station – “San Stefano” Blvd. – “Stefan Stambolov” Blvd. – “Transportna” St. and bus stations: “West”, “Bilkova apteka”, BFU, High School of Mathematics, Multi-profile Hospital for Active Treatment, Technical Chemistry University, Ford Motor Service, Mall of Burgas, Cemetery Park. Influenza Epidemic Continues Till Tuesday

Regional headquarters for fighting against influenza decided to prolong influenza epidemic in Burgas until November 17th, Tuesday. There is drop in morbidity rate, but still it is not enough to cancel the taken measure for resuming of school classes.  Until November 17th all other measures for prevention remain, too - canceling of planned surgeries, visits in hospitals, women’s and children’s consultations, immunizations. Kindergartens and nurseries will keep working with stricter visit control.
