Ex-Cinema Hall in Kraimorie Reconstructed
By the end of this month the reconstruction of an ex-cinema hall in the settlement of Kraimorie should be completed. The reconstruction is to the total value of BGN 20 000 and is financed by the Municipality of Burgas. The repairs of the premises, that is situated in the local mayoral building, started in September. The cinema hall has not been working for 15 years due to its miserable conditions and lack of financing. There were halls on the walls and floor, the roof and seats were broken. Currently plaster concrete is being laid, the electric system is being replaced, walls are painted and seats are replaced with new ones. Burgas Municipality Organizes Scientific Conference on Children's Education
Municipality of Burgas is organizing a scientific conference with an international partnership with the topic “Pre-School Childhood and the Responsibilities of Modern Society”. The conference is dedicated to the town’s official holiday of Nikulden and it will be held November 25-27, 2009 in the building of Burgas Free University under the patronage of Jordanka Fandakova – minister of education and science.
