Project for Construction of a Sewage System in Lozovo to Be Prepared Urgently
The Municipality of Burgas is ready to assign the preparation of a project for construction of a sewage system in Lozovo. It will be of a combined type – for domestic and rain water. The quarter had partially constructed sewage system, but with not enough capacity. The municipality will finance the development of the project from its own budget. For the construction will be first sought outside funding, if not found – will be financed on staged by the municipality again. Urgent measures that will be taken together with the project preparation are as follows: * Cleaning of the rain-collecting installations; * Cleaning of the trench in the west side of Lozovo; * Construction of new draining ditches. Performance Tells about the Liberation of Burgas
With a performance the celebrations, dedicated to the 132nd anniversary since the liberation of Burgas, will start. The documentary performance “The Way to Freedom” will reveal details about the memorable for the citizens of Burgas date – February 6th, 1878. The performance will be staged on Friday, February 5th at 18 h in the refurbished hall of the Youth culture centre /Gladston 47 St./ Two actors will play the roles of a Russian soldier and a Bulgarian young man. They will reproduce the dramatic events, that happened in the end of January and the beginning of February 1878 from two points of view – the Bulgarian and the Russian one. „Nadezhda”, Meaning “Hope” will Be the Name of New Kindergarten in “Meden Rudnik”
Mayor Dimitar Nikolov announced Burgas Municipality’s intention to build a new kindergarten in “Meden Rudnik”. This happened during a public discussion of the municipal draft budget and planned projects for the territorial directorate of Vazrazhdane, part of which are “Meden rudnik”, “Pobeda” and “Gorno ezerovo”. The new kindergarten will be the fifth for the last two years. It will be called “Nadezhda” and will be situated in zone “B” of the residential quarter. Ecobulletin on the World Day of Wetlands Prepared by Burgas Students
Students from several Burgas schools – “Konstantin Preslavski”, “Vassil Aprilov” and “Acad. Nikola Obreshkov” prepared together an ecobulletin on the occasion of the World Day of Wetlands - February 2nd. This was part of the activities, included in the project “The School in My Native Town of Burgas – Beloved and Unforgettable”. The idea of this bulletin is to provide information about the protected areas around Burgas in a user-friendly and entertaining way. The ecobulletin will be disseminated in schools.
