Mayor Demanded Inspection on Points for Waste Collection

Mayor Dimitar Nikolov demanded inspection on all points for waste collection that deal with metals on the territory of Burgas municipality. The cause for the mayoral order is the numerous thefts of metal and aluminium wires from the network of the street lighting. By the 25th of February inspectors from municipal “Economics and business issues” and “Public order” departments will inspect all 42 points for collection of waste in the municipality. The municipal employees will impose fines to inaccurate retailers. The fines according to the Waste management regulations range from BGN 15 000 to 50 000.
