Professional Experience

From June 2008 to July 2009 she was Director of the European Integration Department at Burgas Municipality and was responsible for attracting and effective absorption of Structural and Cohesion Funds of the EU as well as for the international relations and partnerships of the municipality.

Since 1999 she's been working with the NGO sector as a project manager or an expert on environmental management and sustainable local development. Under her guidance over 30 international and national projects have been successfully completed. Consultant to local authorities in the Black Sea region in the development of Municipal development strategies, Community programs for waste management and municipal environmental protection projects. Member of the consulting team that developed the Regional Development Plan of the Southern Bulgarian Region. Member of the consulting team that prepared the National Report "The Objectives of the Millennium, Bulgaria 2008", author of Chapter 7 - "Ensuring Environmental Sustainability".

Education

Higher education in Biotechnology and Engineering ecology, MSc degree in Environmental protection and sustainable development, additional qualifications in Strategic planning guidance, Development of environmental policies, Development of strategies for sustainable local and regional development. Further educational qualifications, obtained in Belgium, Netherlands, UK, USA, Hungary, Russia, etc.

 

Kostadin Markov

Deputy Mayor of the Structure and Building Development

Professional Experience:

Regional Manager of "STS-holding group”, he has managed the offices in Burgas, Sliven and Yambol.

He has been engaged in business consulting activity as a partner in “MAN consult” Ltd. As a natural person he has been a consultant in a number of English, Greek, Jewish and Bulgarian companies for the past 5 years.

He has carried out investor’s control in Primorsko municipality for the fortification of the town’s coast. His consulting activity includes research of real estate potential, town-planning analysis, investments project and building supervision.

Public Activity:

He has been a chairman of the TSU (Territorial town structure) in the Town council – Burgas and a representative of Burgas City-hall in the district commission for regional development for the past 4 years.

He has specialized in Political Management in NBU (New Bulgarian University)

Education:

Higher education : University for architecture, building and geodesy – Sofia (UASG), speciality “ Industrial and town building”, Master’s degree in “Building Constructions”,

Yordanka Benova-Ananieva

Deputy Mayor of the Education and Culture

She is a member of the Psychologists’ Association and professor of “organizational psychology” at the University “Prof. Dr. Asen Zlatarov”.

She received her higher education in Sofia University and has an additional professional qualification in Project management and execution, including a certificate from the International Training Services-London.

Yordanka Ananieva has worked in her speciality at the company “PROMET” and in the high school “Sv. sv. Kiril and Methodii”, where she acted deputy for director. She conducted personnel training in the companies “Coca Cola”, “BTC”, “Burgasbus”, on the programmes “To succeed through the people” and “Team-working”.

She has participated in the management and realization of projects from the Foundation “Open society”, Foundation for reformation of the local self-government, the EU program Phare and others.

She was a member of the Municipal Commission fighting the antisocial acts of juveniles and minors.

Krasimir Stoychev

 

Deputy Mayor of the Budget, finance, economy and economic activities

He graduated the Economic Technical School in Burgas, The Economic University in Varna, speciality “Accountancy and control”, Law in BSU (Burgas Free University). He has successfully passed the course of topmanagement in the transportation in the town of Gent, Belgium.

During the period of 1986-1997 Krasimir Stoychev worked in Port Burgas as a deputy chief accountant, chief accountant, director “finance and marketing”, deputy executive director and deputy chairman of the Border of directors.

He is engaged in private business in the field of wholesale merchant, building, transportation, ship agitation and forwarding since 1997.

He speaks Russian and English.

dr. Loris Manuelyan

 

Deputy Mayor of the Health Protection and Social Activities

Dr. Manuelyan is a specialist in internal deceases, nephrology since 1996.

He has qualification in medical management, administration and dialysis surgery, national expert in the accreditation in the medical institutions.

So far he has worked in medical institutions in Burgas and Malko Tarnovo. Since 1989 he is the director Hemodialysis center in the General hospital in Burgas.

Dr. Manuelyan is a member of the Board of Managers of the Bulgarian Medical Union – Sofia, and since 2004 – secretary of the Expert nephrology council at the Ministry of Health Protection.

He is a member of the European dialysis-transplantation association, of the American nephrological society and the Bulgarian Scientific Society of nephrology, as well as of the leadership of the Hemodialysis Section at the Bulgarian nephrological society.

Dr. Manuelyan participates in the Annual World and European nephrological and dialyses congresses, as well as in the Annual congresses of the nephrological society and the Foundation “Babrek” (“Kidney”)

He is a participant in the team that has developed the Rules of the adequate dialysis at the Ministry of Health Protection.
