National Poetry Audition for "Hristo Fotev"

National Poetry Competition is dedicated to the great poet Hristo Fotev. It was established by decision of the Municipal Council - Burgas in 2006 and is organized by the Municipality of Burgas, the Bulgarian Union of Writers, Association of Bulgarian Writers and the Ministry of Culture.

By statute is held under the patronage of Bourgas mayor of the city of two years by finalizing a birthday Christo Fotev - March 25.

The first edition of the competition was in 2008. It was attended by 85 stihosbirki artists from all over the country. Were nominated for the prize 5 - "The Sea" by Thomas Binchev, pastor of stars Nikolai Zayakov, "Return of the words" and moments of light "Ivan Gruev," High Water "by Bina Kals and Save the words of Wendish Raykova.

Thomas jury unanimously determined Binchev the first prize winner of the name of Christo Fotev. The second edition of the national poetry contest will be in 2010.
