Municipality of Burgas supports the application of block 128 in Meden Rudnik for participation in the Demonstration Project for the Renovation of Multifamily Buildings of Ministry of Regional Development and Public Works and UN Development Programme.  Owners of floor areas of three entrances of the block joined and stated their willingness to start renovation works such as outer warmth isolation and painting, woodwork, vertical risers and water and sewage systems replacement. Renovation of the common areas, such as staircase repairs, inner plastering, painting works and roof isolation is necessary too.

Burgas Municipality stated, that it will provide financial resources to cover 90 % of the expenses needed for renovation of municipal residential buildings in the selected areas and also for development of public areas around the blocks. It will also provide a project coordinator.

The Municipality will assist for synchronizing the actions of the executive companies responsible for infrastructure elements in the areas, included in the Project.

Block 128 is built in 1987. It comprises of four entrances, each of them an independent section. They are in good condition, without any construction problems obvious.

Burgas Municipality plans a complete and integrated approach to the development of the territory around the block, including design, construction and reconstruction of pavements, green areas and park facilities.

Municipal Administration appeals to owners of apartments in multifamily residential buildings in Burgas to cooperate and participate actively in the next phase of the Project.
