40 construction companies owe compensations to the Municipality of Burgas for the removal of trees during  their investment projects execution. 

The unfulfilled obligations were mainly accrued during 2003 and 2007.

The Municipal Administration sent notification letters to the companies asking them to provide plants as compensation for their dues. The kinds and places for the new vegetation planting will be coordinated with experts from the municipal Landscaping Department.

Meanwhile, planting of the area near the parking lot of block 79 in “Lazur” and along “Dimitar Dimov” Street in the area between “Adam Mitskevitch” and “Pomorie” Streets is going on. Trees of the type birch and trumpet-flower as well as hedges have been planted.
