Starting July 20th the Municipality of Burgas provides 4 new zones with free wireless internet access. These are: “Troykata” square, the garden next to the Central Railway station and South Bus station, the Open-air theatre in the Sea garden and the garden in front of the Opera House.
During the last year free WI-FI access was provided at the City Hall of Burgas, the square in front of it and the Tourist Information Centre.
The project was executed by Comnet Bulgaria Holding and is part of the complete programme of the Municipality of Burgas for integration of new technologies in daily life of Burgas residents and therefore improving living conditions in the city.
The world’s trend shows that there will be 250 million wireless devices /laptops and mobile phones/ in 2010, 126 millions in Europe, and over 50 % of users able to work with them.
The network, that should be selected, to gain wireless access is “Obstina_Bs_Free”.
