Metal Letters Stolen for Scrap

Magdalena Karastoyanova, director of municipal “Ritual Complex” enterprise alarned, that in the cemetery park of Burgas metal letters have been stolen from the gravestones. During the last months criminal activity is increasing, probably because of the crisis.
During the previous week mayor Dimitar Nikolov ordered inspection on all the 42 waste collection points in Burgas, that deal with metals. They are made because of the frequent thefts of cables that often cause problems with electricity.
The inspections are made by representatives of the municipal “Economic and business activities” and “Crisis management, public order and security” departments. At the mayoral order they will check if there are stolen letters accepted there. For all violations fines will be imposed.
