15 Companies Bid for the Reconstruction of Alexandrovska St and Seaside Park

* Municipality broadcasts the opening of tenders on the Internet 15 companies bid  in the tender for implemention of the project "Reconstruction and rehabilitation of the pedestrian zone, street network, Seaside Park and public spaces in the central part of Bourgas".   A committee of municipal officials and outside experts checked whether the  full documentation is provided. A viewing of tenders will be done later.   For the first time today the meeting was broadcasted directly on the Internet. TV Journalist Stroke at Municipal Employee

Dimitar Bayraktarov - author of a broadcast at SKAT TV - tried to strike a municipal employee at the workplace. The ugly scene was performed today  at the Tourist Information Centre of Bourgas. Dimitar Bayraktarov appeared in the tourist office and requested hard copies of records of meetings of the Advisory Council for Tourism at the Municipality. In the absence of the Head of the department / the position is vacant and currently a contest for it is running / employee Sylvia Nestorova explained that these documents are published on the website of the municipality and can be seen there and in order to obtain them on paper a formal request should be submitted. To my great regret today the municipal councilors  failed to take a decision on the public paid parking area, the so called "blue zone" in Bourgas. So its long-awaited introduction was postponed for an indefinite time in the future. The introduction of the blue zone is an initiative directly related to the time to realize the enormous scale of our project "Integrated urban transport in Burgas", whose performance expected funding of more than BGN 60 million. Once again I want to remind what is the meaning of it - it will bring order to the parking and traffic of cars in the downtown. Worst Area of “Vladimir Vazov” St. Drained and Reconstructed

Burgas Municipality started reconstruction of the worst area of Vladimir Vazov St.. It was badly damaged after suffering a severe winter. Because of problems with drainage puddles formed there, deep in two spans, and at lower temperatures and ice chambers, which cause considerable damage on the street surfacing. The road is busy as nearby several large companies are situated. Because of the inability to fully use it dozens of companies sent a collective complaint to the Mayor Dimitar Nikolov. To solve the problem, Municipality locate and clean forgotten 20 years ditch near Vladimir Vazov. After yesterday's heavy rain it managed to collect all excess water from the street, allowing today the reconstruction of the surfacing  to start.…

* Modern administrative center to be built on the site of the ex-division Defence Minister Anyu Angelov officially announced that the site of the former unit in the quarter of Izgrev shall be given for maintenance and management of the Municipality.
