Young photographers from across the country celebrate International Black Sea Day

More than 100 young photographers from all over the country - pupils from 5 to 12 grade - took part in the traditional national contest "The sea is not for a vacation", dedicated to the International Black Sea Day - 31st October. The competition is organized by the  Personal Development Support Center, the Municipality of Burgas, the Regional Employment Agency, the Ministry of Education and Science and the National Palace of Children.     The jury consist of four photographers - members of  Photographic Community in Burgas with the Chairwoman - Dimitrina Andreeva and members Milen Dobrev, Plamen Rusev and Todor Dinev.    

On square "Troikata" - Preya, STELLAR LUMOS, Emil Madzharov and Elitsa Georgieva, David Suknarov and Lidiya Stamatova will entertain all citizens in Burgas

The initiative is realized on a project "Integrated approach for achievement of significant and sustainable results in the educational integration of pupils from a ethnically minorities in Municipality Burgas". The Project is financed by program "Science and education for an intelligent growth", co-financed by the European union through the European structure and investment funds.

Mayor Dimitar Nikolov awarded the Olympic champions Mariela Kostadinova and Panayot Dimitrov

Mayor Dimitar Nikolov honored with honor plaque the Olympic acrobatics champions Mariela Kostadinova and Panayot Dimitrov. The couple won gold medals at the Youth Olympics in Buenos Aires, Argentina in the individual and team races. Nikolov expressed his gratitude to the parents of the young athletes for having taught them to wear a strong sports spirit. He also noted the important role played by the coaches, the leadership of the club and the Bulgarian Acrobatics Federation for the good preparation and motivation of young people to achieve great success. The World Tay Chi volunteers were awarded in Burgas
