On June 12 and 13, the city of Varna will host the State Kyokushin Karate Championship in categories for all ages. The tournament is organized on the initiative of BKA-IKO Bulgaria, with the assistance of the Municipality of Varna and the club of the world champion Shihan Emil Kostov - "ICHI GEKI VARNA".
The two-day championship will start on June 12 with children aged 5 to 11, inclusive. On Sunday, the competition continues from 10:00 am with matches for boys, girls, men, women and veterans.
Applications for participation have so far been submitted by about 180 athletes from clubs in the country, members of BKA-ICO Bulgaria. From the Burgas club of the world champion of kata sensei Gergana Apostolova-Kostova - SKK "Kyokushin Spirit", 42 karatekas in different age groups and categories will take part.
