Given the continuing complicated epidemic situation in our country, the Center for Bulgarian-Jewish Friendship "Alef" extended the deadline for participation in the eighth edition of the National Student Literary Competition "Whoever saves one human life, saves the whole universe." The stories of the young authors will be accepted at the e-mail address of "Alef" - [email protected] - until March 31, 2021. The theme of the eighth competition is "I'll tell you about my savior." The narrator must travel to the Second World War and create a literary work, seeking answers to questions such as: Who is the savior who helped the Jews during the genocide against them? What made him risk his life to save a Jew during the Holocaust? How does it feel to be in danger and to rely solely on the courage of a friend or on the morals and philanthropy of a stranger? The artistic story for participation in the competition must not have been published and must not have participated in other competitions. Each author can present only one work.
