The Pulmonary Hospital in Burgas will temporarily suspend the free examinations in the post-COVID office. The medical institution shares that due to the complicated situation in the district of Burgas and the exceptional workload of the hospital care, the activity of the opened office for combating the post-COVID syndrome is suspended for the time being. The post-COVID office will be reopened as soon as the situation normalizes.
Free check-ups for post-COVID syndrome started at the health facility on March 1st. They were performed by pneumologists, as in rare cases the coronavirus infection mainly affects the lungs and, if necessary, referred the patient for additional examinations by a cardiologist, neurologist or psychiatrist.
Former patients of the Pulmonary Hospital and of all of the other medical institutions in Burgas were examined in the office.
