Free examinations for the presence of post-Kovid syndrome will be held from March 1 at the Pulmonary Hospital / SBALPFZ Burgas / and the Complex Oncology Center in Burgas. An office will be opened in both hospitals to consult all patients who have already gone through a coronavirus infection.
The post-Covid office at the Pulmonary Hospital will be open only on Wednesdays from 10.30 am to 4.30 pm and on Thursdays from 2.30 pm to 6.00 pm, so as not to mix patient flow. More information about the examinations in it can be found by phone: 056 896 252.
Patients should carry medical records and other documents from their history of COVID-19 infection. The aim of the initiative is to reduce broad-spectrum post-covid conditions and to return patients to their normal lifestyle without any problems.
Experts explain that the typical symptoms of post-Covid syndrome are chronic fatigue, heart and concentration problems, shortness of breath and cough, which persist for months after the active phase of the disease.
