Burgas celebrated the 174th anniversary of the birth of Hristo Botev. The celebration took place in front of the monument to the great poet and revolutionary in the Sea Garden.
A representative part of the naval forces from the local garrison paid military tribute in front of Botev's bust. Wreaths and flowers were presented by representatives of state, local authorities, institutions and many citizens.
During the ceremony verses of the poet, performances of the Brass Band - Burgas were heard, the revolutionary work and the heroic self-sacrifice of the great Bulgarian were recalled.
