Burgas will mark the International Day of Persons with Disabilities on December 3 with a rich and diverse program. Beneficiaries of the city's social services have worked hard to bring joy to their fellow citizens by preparing a series of surprises. The program, titled “A Colorful String of Friendship,” features exciting initiatives such as a charity bazaar, an exhibition, sports activities, a concert, and more.
The first event begins at 10:00 AM at Boycho Branzov Sports Hall, featuring a Goalball game. Goalball is a team sport designed for visually impaired players, played by athletes aged 12 and older. Two teams of three players compete, with a maximum of three substitutes per team. Matches consist of two 12-minute halves, and the team scoring the most goals wins.
