It is amazing to see in one place so many books, a universe of knowledge and so many modern technological solutions that allow knowledge to be visually accessible," said Mayor Dimitar Nikolov, after inspecting the new building of RB" P. K. Yavorov ”on the first working day of the cultural institution.
Among the first visitors to the library were the representatives of the cultural elite of Burgas, including maestro Stefan Diomov, as well as former library managers and employees.
Mayor Nikolov was accompanied by the Deputy Minister of Regional Development and Public Works and Head of the Managing Authority of OPRD Denitsa Nikolova, as well as the Deputy Mayor for Culture, Tourism and Sports Diana Savateva.
They presented to the citizens of Burgas separate spaces in the library and the two exhibitions, arranged on the 1st floor and 4th floor.
In order to keep the tradition, all employees of the library took part in a joint photo. The historical photo will enter the annals of the cultural institution after the photo from the first sod of the new library against the background of the abandoned and crumbling former German hospital.
