The awarding of outstanding students and teachers is a new practice for the Burgas German High School. It is also supported by the School Board.
Katina Staleva, a tenth-grader and chair of the Student Council, was named Student of the Year in the first high school stage. Boyan Mihov from XI grade was awarded from the second stage of high school - a prominent debater in both Bulgarian and English.
