The Bulgarian traditional garb is a general name which we use to address the folk clothing of the Bulgarian from the Revival to the mid-20th century. The clothing reflects the specific, traditional culture and manners of the Bulgarian people. By its nature the folklore garb is an everyday work clothing which acquires a festive look using an artistic decoration. It stands out with its exceptional practicality during work, traditional rites or festivities.
The goal of the competition is to preserve and popularize the beautiful Bulgarian folk clothing.
