International forum presents successful models for promoting entrepreneurship and business ideas in the field of handicrafts in Burgas. The meeting at the Cultural Center "Sea Casino" is a part of the project "INNOCRAFTS - Innovative policies for development of entrepreneurship in the field of handicrafts", which is implemented in partnership with 14 organizations from Italy, France, Spain, Ireland, Finland, Hungary, Slovakia, Russia, Lithuania and Latvia. Leading organization is Florence Municipality.
The forum began with presentation of Burgas Municipality, which presented Youth Entrepreneurial Exchange in Burgas and the work of educational establishments in High School of Business.
The two-day visit of the international delegation in Burgas will continue with visit to the Municipal social enterprise "Sea Signs" for handmade souvenirs with marine theme and to Ethnographic complex "Genger" near Aytos, where the partners will be able to learn about typical crafts.
The other highlight in the program of the guests will be a little later today /on the 8th of April/ at 18 o'clock in Cultural Center "Sea Casino". It is connected with the opening of archaeological exhibition, dedicated to the birth of crafts in our lands since prehistoric times.
The project is funded under INTERREG IVC program and co-funded by the European Regional Development Fund of European Union. Its aim is to promote the entrepreneurship and business in the field of contemporary craft and art by improving the effectiveness of local policies in this area.
