The Burgas Puppet Theatre was awarded an IKAR for 2019

The Burgas Puppet Theatre was given the national award for performing arts for 2019 "IKAR" during the 45th ceremony of the Bulgarian Actors' Association, which took place last night at the National Theatre "Ivan Vazov" in Sofia.

The award was granted to the performance called "Filifionkata that believe in disasters" by in the category of "Puppet show". The screenplay and the direction of the spectacle are done by Petar Todorov, the scenography is by Hanna Shvarts, and the music is composed by Petya Dimanova. The video design is made by Vladislav Iliev and the choreography is by Petya Stoykova. The voice of Icko Finci is added to the performance as well. The show is starring Desislava Mincheva-Todorova in the role of Filifionkata, and Nedelina Roselinova as Gafsata. The award is given by the Guild of the Artists in the Puppet Theatre.
