"Dear Burgas figures of culture and education,
It is an honor for me to congratulate you on the occasion of the Day of the People's Awakeners!
Today we pay the deserved respect and esteem to all figures who have dedicated their lives to the Bulgarian spirituality, language and culture. Let us bow our heads to the memory of all the first teachers who preserved our identity during the Renaissance and ignited the spark of our national liberation movement. Their role in igniting in our people the pursuit of knowledge and national self-confidence is invaluable.
November 1 is a holiday of our historical memory and national self-confidence. Today, more than ever, we need spiritual support so that we do not lose our way to a brighter horizon. Thanks to our awakeners, Bulgarian culture, science and education are recognized in Europe and the world.
