Date: December 12th (Thursday)

Time: 7:00 PM

Location: "Chernomorie" hall, International Congress Center Burgas

Ticket price: 10 BGN. The proceeds from the ticket sales will be donated to the National Helpline for Drugs, Alcohol, and Gambling.

The film authentically presents the daily life in therapeutic centers, exploring the lives of people addicted to drugs, alcohol, and gambling.

It was filmed at the "Saint Ilia" therapeutic center with the support of the Preventive Information Center for Addictions - Gabrovo, and shows the reality of treatment and transformation.

Six protagonists appear on camera to share their personal stories and the path to recovery, offering a new perspective on understanding addictions and the struggle against them.

Unlike other films on similar topics, this project goes in-depth, as, for the first time, a filming crew was granted access to the therapeutic center itself. The film reveals what happens inside, not just superficially, but through direct storytelling, personal accounts, and a demonstration of therapeutic activities.

On the project website http://chist.bg, viewers can find information about all the therapeutic centers in Bulgaria, an interactive map showing their locations, as well as resources with useful information on addiction treatment.

This platform was created to facilitate access to information and support for people seeking help and to raise awareness about the available treatment options.

The goal of the documentary film "Clean or Dead" is to raise awareness about drug, alcohol, and gambling addictions, as well as the challenges people face in rehabilitation centers.

Through the authentic stories of the protagonists, the film aims to break the stereotypes and prejudices associated with addiction and encourage public understanding and empathy.

Another goal of the filmmakers is to inform viewers about available resources and prevention methods, providing important information to those dealing with such issues or wanting to learn more about them.

The general partner of the film "Clean or Dead" is the Association for Responsible Non-Banking Lending (AONK), which supports initiatives of public importance.

The event is supported by the Municipal Council on Narcotic Substances and the Preventive Information Center – Burgas.
