
On January 15 (Wednesday) at 6:30 PM, the Burgas audience will have the pleasure of enjoying the performance for youth and adults, "I, the Soul" at the Puppet Theatre. This is a puppet play written by Petar Todorov in 1993. The play depicts the torment of a human soul that manages to escape from its coexistence with its body, but decides to return and give it a second chance.
The performance has won numerous awards, including:
Best Female Role Award for Desislava Mincheva at the International Puppet Festival for Adults "Pierrot" in 2017
Best Puppet Miniature Award at the XVII International Festival "Two is Little, Three is Too Many" in Plovdiv in 2008
First Prize for Best Bulgarian Performance at the same festival, awarded by the Dutch jury
Award from the Union of Artists for Best Artistic Presence at the International "Puppet Fair" Festival in Sofia in 2008
The director and producer is Petar Todorov, Puppet Designer: Hanna Schwartz, Costume Designer: Nikolina Kostova-Bogdanova, Musical Arrangement based on “Stabat Mater” by Pergolesi: Petar Todorov, Puppeteer: Petar Chekuriv.
