Mayor Dimitar Nikolov proposes to build a new school building in the yard of PPMG "Acad. Nikola Obreshkov ”and GRE“ G. S. Rakovski ”. A project has already been prepared, and the Municipal Council will vote to request funds from the Ministry of Finance in 2022 for its implementation.
The new building will be used by students of both high schools. It will provide an opportunity to switch to a one-shift regime, a modern learning environment, will increase the opportunities for choosing activities of interest to encourage and develop children's creative abilities.
The school building is designed to be on three floors with a total of 22 classrooms, two of which will be on the ground floor and 10 on the first and second floor.
