The winner of the first edition of the Competition for graduates of Dramatic Theatre Directing, named after Boris Slav Chakrinov, will soon be announced. This was announced by the Drama Theatre "Adriana Budevska."
Inspired by the exceptional theatrical figure, the three finalists, Maria Genova, Patricia Gospodinova, and Aleksandro Tunic, presented their creative projects: "Dance of Death" by A. Strindberg, "Yerma" by Lorca, and "Hello and Goodbye" by Atol Fugard, in a direct interview with the jury.
The distinguished professionals – Bogdana Kosturkova, Dimitrina Teneva, Diana Savateva, Valentin Tanev, Emil Bonev, and Bogdan Petkanin – highly praised the enthusiasm, dedication, and originality of the candidates and their presented projects, making the selection of the winner a true challenge.
The successful execution of the competition laid the foundation for a new tradition that encourages young artists to express their desire to develop and demonstrate that art continues to be a vibrant and significant force.
The competition is supported by the Municipality of Burgas and the Ministry of Culture.
