The future modern Youth International Center, which will be built next to "Petko Rosen" Secondary school in zhk Meden rudnik needs identification. That is why the Municipality of Burgas has announced a contest for the creation of an original logo of the Center, the construction of which will begin this spring.
"The idea is for the logo to give a distinctive and memorable associative image of the new Youth Center, which has the ambition to become an attractive place for young people, where they can develop their creativity and their ideas," said the Mayor Dimitar Nikolov.
The Youth International Center / YIC / will cover an area of approximately 1,800 square meters. It will have one main floor with two additional smaller floors with different areas and rooms - a large multifunctional hall, children's playground, smart offices, studios for arts, science and entrepreneurship, rest areas, beds and cafeteria.
The center will offer conditions for international youth exchanges, non-formal education, regional visits, clubs, trainings, startup spaces, and the services will be available to all young people.
The aim of this competition for a sign is to create an original logo and message of the Center, which will help the recognizability of the youth structure. The logo will be a key component of the Center's visual identity and will be used for the needs of the communication campaign of the project to promote the new youth space.
The prize for the winner with the most original logo is BGN 2,000.
The logo must be adapted for static, printed and electronic interpretation. It must be designed to be suitable for use with and without a background, both in small and large size, and to be suitable for printed advertising and souvenirs, information boards and billboards.
The graphic designs should include Cyrillic and Latin versions, accompanied by color and black-and-white versions with an option for computer animation. The logo should be developed and presented in JPG format, as well as in vector format - EPS, AI, CDR, PDF.
Each author must provide a signed declaration of authorship of the proposed project and concept, with which they justify their idea - the impact of fonts, colors and elements.

The deadline for receiving the projects is April 25, 2021.
