The teams of Neftohimik 2010 and Dea Sport started the new season in the Supervolley League with victories. The runner-up beat Levski in Sofia with 3: 2 in Mladost Hall. In the individual parts the result was 22:25, 25:20, 25:19, 20:25, and the tiebreak ended 15:10.
The most successful scorer with 18 points was the Slovak receiver Julius Firkal. Miroslav Gradinarov added 17 points with 57% efficiency in attack. The diagonal Nikolay Uchikov finished with 14 points. Gradinarov was named MVP in the derby.
