The Municipality of Burgas is part of an international consortium for the implementation of the GoGreenRoutes project. Its main goal is to study the impact of physical activity and spending more time outdoors in nature on people's physical and mental health.
For the city of Burgas, the efforts are concentrated on two urban spaces - between bl. 7 and 8 in Bratya Miladinovi complex and green territory on Oborishte Street, next to Gurko parking lot.
It is planned to hold a series of meetings and consultations with local stakeholders and people living in both areas in order to determine the most appropriate measures to be implemented. The actual implementation of the activities should start in the second half of 2022 and the beginning of 2023.
