Changes in the rules in the Ordinance for paid parking provide relief for citizens who own property in the blue and green zone, but do not live permanently in Burgas. The new rules were adopted unanimously by the Municipal Council. They were developed by the Temporary Commission for drafting an Ordinance amending the Ordinance on the terms and conditions for paid and free parking and controlled access of motor vehicles in certain areas of the municipality of Burgas, chaired by Municipal Councilor Evelina Mihaleva. According to the new rules, citizens who do not have a permanent address in Burgas, but own a property in the blue or green zone, will have the right to purchase a sticker for paid parking for a period of 14 days. The changes in the Ordinance stipulate that the sticker can be issued twice within one calendar year. The right to paid parking for a period of 14 days will be given only for one vehicle to one owner or co-owner in the respective property.
