The modernisation of the street lighting happened after an approved project of the Municipality of Burgas, which received funding for the program “Renewable energy, energy efficiency, energy security”. With its fulfilment 2623 lighting units were replaced. With the implementation of the energy efficiency measures the city will pay 200 000 BGN less.
