In the Council Hall of the Municipality of Burgas, the price offers from companies bidding to renovate 19 of the residential buildings approved under the Recovery and Resilience Plan (RRP) in Burgas were opened. This took place in the presence of the building managers.
Over 60 companies have expressed interest, with between two and three offers submitted for each building.
A total of 30 buildings were approved in the first phase of the RRP and will receive 100% funding.
For 11 of them, the public procurement procedures have already been completed, and contracts for execution are expected to be signed. With today’s opening of the price offers, the Municipality of Burgas is concluding the third phase of the public procurement for the remaining 19 residential buildings.
A special commission will compare the prices and technical projects to select the best offers. This is expected to happen before the holidays.
Most of the agreements between the Ministry of Regional Development and Public Works (MRRB) and the Municipality of Burgas for the funding of the projects have already been signed. The remaining agreements are expected to be signed by the end of the year.
During the winter months, the technical projects will be prepared, and the actual work on implementing energy efficiency measures is expected to begin in the spring of 2025.
