In the days of Beach and Football Weekend, 9-11 July, Regional Historical Museum- Burgas traditionally participates with intriguing topics. In Archeological exposition the citizens and guests of Burgas will be able to see a boat made of one wood. The boat was discovered in 1975 in Burgas Bay, next to a shipyard after a violent storm. The boat had most likely sunk around the region of a flood of Mandarsko lake, and the strong waves, caused by the storm, had taken it into the sea. It is made of a whole log of ash - a tree species, widespread in the area. There were traces of the use of metal tools, with which the hull was treated.
