Burgas was presented at an international forum in the Italian city of Bergamo under the theme "Career and Life – Why in Bulgaria." The initiative was organized by Bulgaria Wants You.
During the event, the Deputy Mayor for Tourism and Sports, Manol Todorov, met and spoke with Bulgarians living abroad. He presented the opportunities that Burgas offers for business projects in the fields of economics, industry, and tourism in the coastal city.
Many of our compatriots living abroad were impressed by the living conditions that Burgas offers. The city is particularly attractive to young families due to its newly renovated kindergartens, which have sufficient capacity to accommodate children.
The city's good geographic location is one of the factors that make Burgas an appealing place for many people. This is further enhanced by the public transportation system, which allows for quick and convenient travel to various locations.
While presenting Burgas to Bulgarians abroad, Deputy Mayor Manol Todorov emphasized that in recent years, the city has been successfully developing as a university center in Southeastern Bulgaria. In addition to the state University "Prof. Dr. Asen Zlatarov" and Burgas Free University, young people have the opportunity to study in their preferred fields at the branches of Sofia University and the National Academy of Art.
The construction of a children's hospital is another factor that encourages many young people to choose Burgas as their place of residence.
