The activities for the reclamation of the old depot near Bratovo are at an advanced stage. Waste from the landfill cage and the neighboring contaminated sites has already been deposited. The reclamation surface is also formed. A special geomembrane has been delivered, which will be laid on the leveling layer of the plateau, and other necessary materials have been provided to ensure the construction activities.
Work is underway to build a retention basin, which will collect infiltrate water from the landfill. The construction of facilities for the disposal of biogas in the landfilled waste is forthcoming. The site is subject to continuous authorial and construction supervision.
