The new acquisition will benefit 10 children with a preliminary work schedule. A psychologist will work with them.
"The realization of the project is a dream come true. The sensory room is the next step after the resource room, thanks to which the children with SEN perceive the environment and the learning material more easily and accessible ”, shared Rositsa Kraleva, director of the kindergarten.
The project also purchased a heavy vest, a heavy blanket, which in children with autism reduces anxiety and provides emotional stability. The pressure helps the child to feel his body, to realize in space. In moderate cerebral palsy, the necessary relaxation and stretching of the affected muscle groups is achieved. For children suffering from attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, the "heavy" blanket has a relaxing and calming effect and provides concentration.
