The Burgas SKK "Kyokushin Spirit" is №1 of the state karate championship for children from 5 to 13 years old, which was held in the "Boycho Branzov" hall.
115 competitors took part. The hosts, coached by two-time world champion Gergana Apostolova-Kostova, presented themselves with 43 children and won a total of 31 awards. They also brought them the team cup in the 15th edition of the Kyokushin Karate Championship.
Champions in the different categories and age groups became - Maria Mitova, Stefan Dimitrov, Mikaela Nikolova, Patrick Beagle, Kaloyan Stoyanov, Zhivko Nedev, Zhivko Eftimov, Igor Peychev, Nikolay Stefanov, Gergana Yaneva, and Stratimir Stratiev.
