The sculptors Paul and Remy Hogarth, known for their fascinating sand sculptures on the Burgas beach, are preparing a new surprise for the people of Burgas.
Their latest sculpture is dedicated to Christmas and is titled "Sandy Christmas in Burgas." It will depict the Holy Virgin, Joseph, and Baby Jesus in an Orthodox style.
This time, the two artists will create their new artwork not on the Burgas beach, but in front of the Burgas Municipality building, on Atanas Sirekov Square.
Paul and Remy Hogarth are already working hard on crafting their new creation, which will use 10 tons of sand. The "Sandy Christmas in Burgas" scene is expected to be completed by Christmas Eve, December 24, and will remain on the square until January 7.
The people of Burgas and visitors to the city will have the opportunity to watch the sand sculpture being crafted and take a photo to remember the process.
The initiative is supported by the Municipality of Burgas.
