For the second year in a row, the municipal prevention program for screening eye diseases in preschool children will be held. This time the study, in addition to the children in the 4th age group of kindergartens, will also cover those in the 3rd kindergarten group. This became clear today at a meeting of ophthalmologists at the three eye clinics in Burgas - MC "Dr. Hubenov", MC "Dr. Ivanovi - Mladost" and MC "Oxycom", which will perform the examinations, with the Deputy Mayor for Health and education Yordanka Ananieva, representatives of the municipal directorates "Health" and "Education" and medical students in Burgas.
In order to cover a larger number of children this year, the Municipality of Burgas has already purchased a second mobile device / refractometer / for eye screening, and the study this time will include students from the Association of Medical Students in Bulgaria - Burgas , students at the Medical Faculty of the University "Prof. Dr. Asen Zlatarov.
