One of the guardians of contemporary healthcare in Burgas – Doctor Husein, Abumelih has left us. He was born in 1935 in Iraq. At a later point in his life, he came to Bulgaria where he studied Medicine. He settled indefinitely in our country in 1991. Doctor Husein Abumelih is one of the people who work on the creation of modern healthcare. Following this idea he establishes the Medicine centre “St. Sofia” and the University hospital for active treatment “Virgin Mary” in Burgas.
