The initiative aims to modernize the system for their separate collection, recycling and reuse for different purposes. The Advisory Council was attended by Deputy Mayor Vesna Baltina, Ivelina Vasilyeva – Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Environment and Water and representatives of state and local authorities, business, as well as experts in the field of ecology and environmental protection. Among the main points of the Advisory Board is the introduction of the principles of the circular economy, which aims to maximize the use of generated waste and turn it into a useful resource.
