See how the city of Burgas is going to celebrate 143 years since its Liberation

On the 6th of February Burgas celebrates 143 years since its Liberation from Ottoman rule. The celebrations start at 11:00 o’clock at “Atanas Sirekov” square with a ritual of rising the flags of Bulgaria, the European Union and Burgas municipality. After the ceremony’s end a grateful prayer will be carried out for the prosperity of free Burgas. After the ritual, the liberators’ memory will be honored with flowers serving in front of the Russian liberators’ monument, the Memorial tablet of general A.M. Lermontov at “Lermontov” street №15 and at the monument of the russian infirmary in the Sea Garden.
