On the 22nd of February, a team from the Bulgarian Society for the Protection of Birds (BSPB) successfully captured and delivered a Dalmatian pelican satellite transmitter in the area of Atanasovsko Lake near Burgas. This is the first Dalmatian pelican with a transmitter in Bulgaria. It is placed on the wing section of the bird, where it does not cause inconvenience in flight and swimming.
