Last year, Mayor Dimitar Nikolov proposed that the old barracks of the Skin Dispensary be demolished and a public park created in their place. The local parliament also supported the initiative. In the following months, the status of the terrain was changed. The Leather Dispensary itself moved to a better place a few years ago and the property of just over 2 decares in the city center remained unusable.
