Starting from 7th September / Wednesday / the citizens of Burgas can load with funds their new electronic cards and use them as a medium of payment in the public transport. It is now possible to load the corresponding subscription for travelling on a cash desk.
The citizens of Burgas can receive an e-card from the House of Transport which is located on "106 "Aleksandrovska" str., but the charging becomes not only there, but also in "South" Bus station, "Meden Rudnik" Terminal and "West" Bus Station.
During the first days after the introduction of the electronic billing system, the Municipality and "Burgasbus" will provide special assistants who will inform citizens and help them to adapt to the innovations. They will be located on the most used bus stops in the city. Assistants will be wearing special vests to be identified easily.
Another important innovation is that passengers must get on the vehicle only from the first door. The second door will be used by passengers with reduced mobility and citizens with prams.

The new system includes a time travelling. It allows citizens to travel within 45 minutes with unlimited number of bus changings.
While everything goes smoothly and citizens of Burgas accustomed to the new system, for a certain period of time people can still have the ability to buy a paper ticket on board the bus. Its value will be 1 lev.
